FREEDOM
V-LED allows the lamp designer to create in three dimensions. No longer are you limited to a 2D circuit board. Instead, V-LED can be installed onto any surface. All that needs to be provided is a 13mm diameter flat mounting surface for the spring contacts of the V-LED. The rest is up to you.

EFFICIENCY
V-LED becomes one with any metal heatsink. The threaded stud provides a metal-to-metal contact for optimal thermal transfer. Getting the heat out of an LED has never been easier.

CONNECTIVITY
V-LED is supplied with an annular contact arrangement. The central threaded stud provides one contact position while the spring contacts around the stud provide the other contact position. This annular arrangement eliminates the hassle of orienting the device.

DRIVE
As with all LEDs, V-LED must be protected with current limiting components. This may vary from simple resistor-diode circuits up to complex switching regulators. Select the method that best fits your application.

VISION
V-LED provides a clear, consistent light source for any optic. The LED chip is centered in a non-distorting optical window to provide a direct view of the light source. Improved optical efficiency is the result. |
